Gather customer printed circuit board project requirements. Verify customer has provided enough data to design and build a custom pcb.

Work with the design team to create a project quote and timeline.

Manage project schedules and keep customers (internal and external) informed of project status.

Keep track of customer requirement changes throughout the project.  Requote and reset delivery dates upon each change.

Keep design team informed of any requirement changes.

Review board design work with customers.

Ensure suppliers have their requirements and purchase orders to do their piece of the projects.

Make sure suppliers and contractors are delivering to their timelines and deliverables. 

Escalate to management if a project is beginning to show signs of problems.

Manage the customer to ensure project success and high level of customer satisfaction.

Ensure final documentation is released at the close of each project

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required   

Must be highly organized
Must be able to communicate well verbally and written.
Must be strongly motivated to get projects completed.
Should be familiar with the Mentor Graphics Expedition pcb layout software
Needs to be able to work with customers, internal designers, suppliers, and contractors to complete projects on time, accurately, and within budget.
Needs to be able to work with people in remote sites.
Needs to be able to multi task between many projects.
Needs to be able to use Microsoft Project and Excel.
Needs to be responsive and courteous to customers.
Needs to have basic understanding of the PCB design, fab, and assembly processes.
Needs basic electronic knowledge, enough to gather requirements from customers.
PCB design background, particularly in ATE device interface boards, is a significant plus.
