Manufacturing Process Engineer (PCB)

Roles & Responsibilities: Facilitates the transfer of manufacturing processes to PCB manufacturers

• Apply root-cause analysis and 8D methodology to determine technical/ manufacturing process problems and make effective solutions

• To participate in supplier selections and audit

• To anticipate technical & technological risks and conduct or propose a related action plans

• To liaise and work with different departments, to facilitate technical discussions and to improve skills and knowledge to the supplier

 • To drive best practices and improvements to the manufacturing processes to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.

 • Travelling will be required.


Requirements

•Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering 

•Minimum 5- 10 years experience in PCB manufacturing environment 

•IPC-A-600 (Class 3) experience is a requirement 

•Experience in PCB manufacturing process control 

•Working knowledge on CAD analysis of the PCB design data and the manufacturing of PCBA

•Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones 

•LEAN, Six Sigma and Eight-D experience are strong advantages 

•Proven track record in setup, management and improvement of PCB will be advantageous

•Strong leadership with ability to drive cross-functional team 

•Flexible and ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
